Yesterday morning when I walked into the studio I decided the spring pastel 16 patch block layout didn't look so bad after all. I did move a few pieces in the upper left and then I started sewing it together. I have 4 more seams to sew and then the staystitching on the outside edge. Then it is time to make the last few blocks for the improv strip pieced quilt on the double design wall in the basement.

I think the layout looks really good - sometimes we just need to let it sit a day and look again and find we like it just fine
