Monthly recap for March 2022

The binding is done for one finish in March.  The best part of my finishes this year is that half of them are large quilts.  This top was completed in 2018 and now in 2022 is completed.  It is 75" x 87" after quilting.

The backing is an older Philip Jacobs fabric with a soft green background.  I think it looks great with the front of the quilt.

And another photo just because the fabrics are so pretty.

Once again I made more tops than finishes.  What a surprise.  I wonder if I'll ever have a month with more finishes than starts. The colorwash is 30" square.  The piece from the 1990's below the colorwash is 48" x 64.  The Spring 16 patch made of all batiks is 64" x 80".  The Batik Strippy also started many years ago is 79" x 99".

That finish is so gorgeous!! The fabrics are really beautiful together--lovely work, Wanda. I think it is very difficult to have any month with more finishes than tops for sure;))); still and all, it is nice to have these flimseys ready to work on as you wish...they are all so neat!! Hugs for a good Friday and weekend...Julierose

Your finished quilt is gorgeous. I don't remember seeing that Philip Jacobs fabric before and it does look really nice with the top. You've had a busy month!

Glad to know I'm not the only one who lets projects languish! The Spring 16-patch is my favorite.

Finished quilt is simply elegant, it has the ambience that pulls you right in. The lavender/purple fabrics just radiates .

And what a grand array of additional quilt tops to add to your accomplishments for the month of March !

You chose a great quilt for your first ever total replication! It has a beautiful glow and flow. Did you enjoy seeing the fabric choices play out in real life? Were there things you might have changed?
