I pressed the 40 blocks from Sunday and put one of each set of 4 on the design wall and put the remaining blocks in a project box for later.
I sewed the rest of the next 7 groups and got the 28 blocks made but not pressed yet.
I spent the morning sorting through my flannel stash and grouping similar types together in storage bins. I have a little more to do before it is how I want it sorted.
I think this might be the last cactus bloom but there is still one more bud that might make it. Actually there are 2 but I think one of them is drying up. I would like to re-pot some of the cacti this spring.

Your flower picture looks like it’s sticking its tongue out :)
Oh, the wonderful glow of those blocks! Wonderful watercolor nine patch wash of color.
I love the quilt already. Yes, it does glow. I love your work.
That looks like a lot of progress to me--it is so pretty in that wash of colors
across it...nice work;)))
Only 39 here, raining and cold winds--I am off to my MD appointment-=hopefully before the heavier rains and winds hit us...
Hugs, Julierose
I love watching the progress of the 9-patch top. I like seeing how it changes as you add more blocks. That flower is so pretty! I hope you get at least one more flower. I was looking at that succulent that some animal chewed on last summer. I had brought it to work just to see what it would do after the damage. Well, it is getting little babies! I am going to have to do some research on how to transplant those, but I was at a nursery that had plants like it and this plant also gets flowers! They had some that had bloomed.
I like the color arrangement that you are working on - looking good!
You are the master (mistress) of colorwash! Snow is falling as I type.
“Only a little progress” but it shows LOTS on my screen. Lovely , just lovely ! Like your last cactus blossom.

Oh gosh, that looks like so much fun!
Oh, I love this one Wanda! I have a bunch of batiks I haven't used and this is a great idea. Thanks for inspiring us every day!!
Your Rainbow 9 Patch is looking glorious and your progress is amazing! Applause!!
As it continues to grow most wonderfully, I wonder what quilt, colors, and pattern you're imagining for 'next'.
Your cacti have been lovely and this last bloom does not disappoint. Clearly, you have a green thumb, too.
Hugs!
Absolutely beautiful nine-patch approach!!!!
I like the Colorwash effect!
Your nine patches are so pretty. I am trying to figure out your color recipe! Are you using colors adjacent to each other on the color wheel? My favorite 9 patch in this group (second photo) is the bright yellow and orange (that’s how it looks on my screen but could be pink and not orange). I always love seeing your cactus blooms. What kind of potting soil will you use to repot them? Will you put them outside until the fall? I have one that is a branch from the mothership plant (which my sister bravely has) that was started by my mother over 80 years ago. I might be brave and put it outside with the others after repotting it.
This quilt gets more beautiful each time you show it! I feel I’m looking through a stained glass window with a bright sun shining through. It looks like it would be a lot of fun to make. It’s so Wanda!

Glorious 9 patch !! I love all that colour, especially the burst of yellow on the RH side.
