While I was in the basement doing laundry I started looking for a bag of crooked cobblestones. Since I have emptied 4 project boxes so far this month I thought I should continue looking for blocks already made in past years.
In the bag were all of these separate bags of crooked cobblestones that are measured and packaged by width. On the sidebar of this blog is a photo of a Crooked Cobblestone wall hanging, the first one that I made. Here is a post when I was sorting them by size, 2016. They have been waiting a long time to be used. I have a label Cobblestone Series in the label list on the right side bar with 79 posts in it if you are interested in any more info.
I hand stitched half of a short side on the pineapple log cabin quilt binding so now I am officially half done.

Well, I was interested so I did go read (well, maybe looked at the pictures mostly) previous blog posts for Crooked Cobblestones. They look like they might be addictive. Might be fun to just take a box of scraps and go make some. I saw the post on how you make yours. My fav of yours was the African one. I'd take a box of my crumbs and go make but my crumbs are not usually straight sided and they are pretty darned small. Thanks for the inspiration!
Yay for the Crooked Cobblestones getting out of the box! This has always been my favorite style of yours. I went back and reread about them. Do you have certain sizes that you shoot for when making them?

Love your cobblestone series, Wanda--I see "Spitnvinegar" blog hand stitched one--I'd always heard that batik is difficult to stitch through...????

35 here this morning and temps going up....expecting rain soon...we're due to lunch with friends tomorrow noontime, so hoping it stays rain and doesn't get cold again and freeze!!

I have always loved the cobblestone blocks. I have some in a bag, but not a lot. They are fun to make.
What great fabrics and am amazed by your wonderful organizational skills so everything is well labeled and easy to find.
I see the Crooked Cornerstones quilt pictured on the blog as your favorite. Will another quilt similar to it soon come into being?

More goodies found! I bet you have enough for a couple baby quilts. It would be a good way to use them and empty another box.
