A little (yummy) sidetrack

I love Spritz cookies and still use the recipe from the Betty Crocker cookbook that I purchased when I was in high school in the 1950's. My cookie press and I have been having a lot of fun.

When I married into my husband's family, I discovered his grandmother's tradition of making at least a dozen different kinds of "Pennsylvania" cookies and giving trays to neighbors and friends. The spritz cookies were one of her favorites. Thanks for the memories!

The cookies look delicious. Don't eat them all at once! Lol.

O Wanda. I am making cookies too and forgot I gave my spritzer to my brother so I had to make my cookies into logs and cut them into tootsie roll shapes. Taste the same but not so pretty as yours.

Only good thing: I don't have to wash the spritzer.
