Here is another from that famous "Needs to be Finished" box. I really want to finish this one as a lap quilt for myself. It is a Strips that Sizzle quilt and I added in black and white to this one. It is 54" x 76".

My Internet friend Elaine is just starting a Strips that Sizzle quilt. You'll have to check out her blog.

I like this one. It has a very free quality to it -- it looks planned out, but not TOO planned. The combo of color and black and white is unexpected too. I hope you finish this one soon so you can enjoying it!
I like this one a lot!
I'm wandering just how many more quilts you have in your "unfinished" box? What a treasure! Love this quilt and I do recognize some of those fabrics. You're right...the close-up views are fun and make the zig-zag pattern much more visible. Can't wait to see what you have to show us next!!
Wanda, keep on taking those "close up" shots... they are wonderful! I really like this quilt and am GOING to put that book on my wish list! (Have about 2 dozen books to list on e-bay or sell some other way ... )
I too really enjoy the close ups of the fabrics. And would REALLY miss them if you stopped showing them. The prints and patterns on fabrics is what draws all of us to begin, add or complete a project.

Oh girl, stop, stop, stop!! My brain is already reeling from inspiration, color, ideas, and now you've posted MORE eye candy! I may need a glass of wine soon!
Thanks for the mention. 8-)
I love to look at the way you put fabric together, and the closeups are great.
I never get tired of looking at your fabrics! I love the closeups, & it gives me tips on what can look so good when it used in a quilt.
It's very interesting how personal are our choices of fabric. Some years ago I did a scrap workshop where we all shared fabrics, and at the end, the room was a mess. But it didn't take long to clear up, because everyone knew which were their own fabrics (and often where they'd bought them, and who they were with at the time)!
Black & White, Blue, and Green: Another great color palette, and not one I remember seeing on a quilt before. Superb work as always!
You have a lot of quilts that would be worth finishing! I like, again, the color with b&w.
It's me again. I'm keeping this post as NEW, so I can study how you've arranged the blocks. I'm kinda thinking you arranged them 'the way you wanted' without any version of a plan.
Delightful to look at - again and again.
love the cool colors & of course the black & white prints!
