Second table mat........................

I finished the binding on the second table mat.  I was trying to find the date I made the tops but no word I entered in the search brought up a match.

Here are the two together.  The one on the left was made first and has 2 matching triangles in the corners and matching fabrics across from each other in some of the 4 squares.  The one on the right was all of the leftover pieced triangles and at the time I was designing it I wasn't sure I was going to sew it together.  I'm glad I did though because my daughter-in-law saw them yesterday and likes them and she has a birthday this month.

Serendipity to have these ready to gift, Wanda!! How great is that!!
58 and raining lightly here this morning after a huge downpour (so DH tells me-- as it woke him up-- whereas I slept through it!!) last night..
I will be getting some hand quilting in before our new prompt on Wednesday for Dark Days...I hope you have a good week...hugs, Julierose

And what a perfect gift they will make! They are both just beautiful.

Nice, they have a home already! I love it when that happens. I loaded a quilt on the longarm and worked on dialing in the tension. Quilting it is on the list today, fingers crossed. It’s foggy here this morning and more rain expected.

You knew there was a reason to pull those out and get them finished at this point - even if you didn't know you knew (grin).
