Center #4 seemed to be the favorite in yesterday's comments. I haven't made a final decision but I think it will be the one.
I took this photo as a reference because I need to start sewing blocks. I have to move 2 sets of 8" blocks to the left on the design wall so I can get the rest of the layout up there.
I have sewn all of the blocks in the first 2 columns and the top 2 blocks in the 3rd column. Today I'll start moving pieces to the left. I cut lots of light squares and triangles yesterday but am still short of the number of squares that I need, both red and light value.
It got up to 59 degrees yesterday and there was sunshine part of the day. I filled the bird feeders and dug out some Burdock. I cut down a Tree of Heaven that comes back every year even though I have tried to kill it.

Interesting block layout, looking forward to the final results
I really like the quilt start! Hope you have some good temps this weekend.
Cool block pattern!

This is going to be a dynamic design! It finally stopped raining here around 5 this morning - it had rained all night. Right now it is only 48 degrees and with the wind it feels more like 37. Once we get some sun on Sunday things ought to dry out some.
Will you continue with the asymmetrical orientation? I like it.
Center block was featured yesterday…. I assume that was indeed center of the entire quilt. Nann’s comment threw me for a loop thinking it might be asymmetrical… I hope not. It’s a brilliant quilt top in the works.
I do like that version it looks really nice. I wondered if you had the cooler weather my daughter is heading to Wisconsin to see friends for the long weekend she and another girlfriend are driving and should be there in a couple hours - she said it will certainly feel cooler when she gets there.
This one is beautiful….I love the colors of the scrappy lights.
