I was in the basement doing laundry and finished up a few other tasks. One was stacking the trays with the 2" x 3.5" rectangles. I store these in a large bin with trays of 2 other size rectangles.
I found this partially sewn project. I could slice and sew the strata and make another section like the first or I could cut it into 2 sections and add stripes to both sides of the sewn section, lining up the fabrics to continue the design. The first option would make one piece 24.5" square. The second option would make a piece approximately 24.5" x 35". Either way it could be finished into a baby quilt with a border or two.
I finished knitting another dishcloth last night. 'Anonymous' wanted the pattern for this. My email is on my right side bar. I would be happy to share it if you email me.
I also planted pansies in 2 pots yesterday. It was in the high 50s and the pansies love the cool weather. In the 40s overnight. The same predicted for the next 2 days.

The start a will make a bright and cheerful baby quilt which ever way you go with it :) We’ve had our pansies planted for a month now and, although I’ve heard deer like them, so far our almost nightly visitors haven’t bothered them.
I really like that strata of such primary colored fabrics, Wanda--great for a baby quilt for sure!!:)))
59 here with the sun peeking out among the clouds this morning. Leaves finally starting to shed that acid green and morphing into the prettier green...plus the humidity levels are coming up...sure sign that Summer is coming here...
Hugs, Julierose
here in MD they plant pansies in november too...usually bloom all winter...
I love how organized yhou are. I need to do a major clean-up in my sewing room.
This morning your trays remind me of baking trays stored in one of those cooling racks - lol! I did bake chocolate chip cookies yesterday and ate too many. I only planted pansies one time and they got eaten by deer as soon as they started thriving - lol!
All your projects are so fun!
hugs

those bright colors would make a nice baby quilt for sure. You got a lot of pieces stacked up
What a fun find ~ two pieces so bright and colorful. I love your idea to combine the two and make it one exciting top. Your photos of years of organization is never ending. And a lovely spring green dish cloth to close your Sunday post.
Ideal project for a baby quilt, it's amazing how many seem to enjoy brightly colour covers and so on. Think I might email you for details of the dishcloth pattern.
