I designed all of the rest of the blocks that would fit on the design wall and sewed 29 to add to the 35 from yesterday. Now I need to sew this big section together and move it up the wall so I can design the last 2 rows.
With any luck I will get this top sewn before the end of the month.
I pulled all of the pieces I needed for the last 16 blocks and put the unneeded pieces in the 4" storage bin.
This is the best looking section in my front garden. My rain gauge is between the front two plants. I lost one plant at the back but it was pretty crowded so I won't replace it.
As I turn and look behind this section, there is one volunteer Columbine in front of my Zinfin Doll Hydrangea bush.
In the last 2 days I got all of the Velcro weed pulled and cleaned up some more in the area where that was. I pulled weeds near my Lenten Roses and tied up one Peony plant so my neighbors don't have to worry about mowing over it.

You have been busy--inside and out, too, Wanda!! Your wall section is looking really good...nice work...
47 here this early morning with the sun shining...maybe a short stroll outside...hugs, Julierose
The colors are so pretty in that soon-to-be quilt! Your front section garden is neat, love the bricks around those pretty plants. We finally got our rain, so it will be easier for me to weed my gardens!
looks great!
It’s always a balancing act for me when planting a new bed…….with the temptation to put in more plants than will comfortably mature. I always seem to err on the too many side. It got down to 38 last night and it’s almost June!
The fabrics you pulled for this top are really pretty together. I hope you're able to finish it this month.
You'll have the luck you need to finish it! Nice to have sunshine and some warmer weather for Memorial Day.
Love the layout Wanda!
Quilt top looks supreme, I really like your layout and knowing you, it will be finished by the end of the month without a problem. Gardens in the spring take a lot of our time and energy to get them back in shape again. But oh the joy they bring for our labor.
the quilt on the wall looks really great I love the look - the light colors are so pretty and the dark shows up so well against it. The gardens are looking good too. It is always amazing how fast the plants take off.
I love the design of this quilt. :)
This top is coming together quickly - it is so pretty. And your garden beds are looking good (gotta love those hostas).
I can’t decide which I love more - this unusual layout or the fabrics and colors you’ve chosen for this new quilt top. What die is it? I can’t seem to find it on the Accuquilt website.
Love this quilt; gorgeous in your Kaffe fabrics! My engineer husband likes it too (probably the contrast, orderliness, and fabric choices)! I looked at Accuquilt for an 8"-finished Signature die. I only saw one within a set of dies (& not labelled as such). Disappointed, but I may consider the set.
