Or should it be on point?

Should it be on point but the blocks not necessarily in this order?

No comparison, I like the on point layout far better than the horizontal/vertical rows.

oooh, I like "On Pointe" very much! And the color arrangement in the picture, also!

I love it as is ! I for one would not even consider turning them. It is like looking at cut gems, with light catching every brilliant facet.

I like on point better too. What color will you make the setting triangles?

Oh yes, this is wonderful now, nice before but now wonderful. What are you planning for the triangles?

It's an interesting pattern, on point the stars look more square, but in straight rows the diagonal lines stand out. I think I like them on point better. The play between the colors is awesome.

I love this on point!! I too wondered how you would treat the setting triangles. What a wonderful colorwash treatment for thangles! Can I see it in person sometime?

I really lijke the on point. Either way will work but the one point just puts it over the top.

I vote "on point". It makes the blocks more interesting.

I'm amazed at how turning blocks on point can completely change the whole effect of the quilt. Wow! for horizontal and Double Wow! for on point.

I'm gonna say on point. Can't tell you why, except like lynda said a few comments up, there's a little more pop for some reason.
