The last 2 seams were sewn on this colorwash, the iron turned on for a final press and staystitching done around the perimeter. It is 32" x 51".
I finished sewing all of the Australian fabric triangles into squares and during TV time I did this layout. This one is going to be small. When sewn together this will be about 36" x 45". I have the leftover long strips left from the border fabric on the 16 patch quilt so I'll audition it and see if I want to add borders or just keep it small.

Both such beauties!!:))) I love how your colorwash came out ---and that ZIg-Zag is just fantastic--sooo pretty....nice work on these;))
Only 33 this morning, but nice and sunny--hoping for some warmth to come in now...hugs, Julierose
Borders might detract from the oomph of the triangles....but the variety of prints makes it so lively!
both are so pretty
Grand post today Wanda, your rectangle color wash is quite the show piece. Always mesmerizing to see the colors grow into such a glorious quilt top.
Fabrics and precision of zig zag, makes a top with lots of pizazz no matter how big it is.

I enjoy the difference the starting shape makes in your colorwash. I think you’ve done rectangles before but not lately. Especially love the green blending. Gorgeous!
Both are beautiful, Wanda. They are such wonderful eye candy.
Applause, applause!! Both quilts are utterly delightful and will be cozy and entertaining eye candy forever. :)
Hugs!
I have so enjoyed your wonderful quilts and plants over the years, you are amazing.
