Second post of the day

I have all of the pieces up on the wall, the last row on the right hanging on with pins. Now I need to stare at it for awhile and decide what needs to be moved around. I think the top left corner is still a little dark compared to the rest of the quilt.

It will be 72" x 96" at this point. I used more of the 4 patches than I thought I would so I think there will be one small quilt or wallhanging with the leftovers. Click on the picture for a closer view.

Wanda,
I'm liking this much better than your first . The light pink doesn't jump out and take away from the overall effect.
Happy 4th ! You can always call this your 4th of July Sparkler quilt!
An explosion of colors!

beautiful! I really like those little chains of color from the 4-patches. Maybe move just one of the two dark squares in the upper right?

This is fabulous -- it is such a happy quilt! I agree with floribunda -- maybe move 1 of the 2 darker squares in the upper right. It made me smile as soon as I saw it!

Another winner. I am glad I clicked back on and found your second post. I like the play of the 4 patches...a line here, a line there. The more I look at it, the more 4 patches I see. What a great design idea. Hope all is well with Mom.

Louise stole my line "Fourth of July Sparkler" ~ It is absolutely better than any other explosion you will see in the sky tonight. And it will never fade away. Happy Fourth and Blogiversary.

Mouthwatering!
Reminds me of some sweets over here called juicy fruits, the advertising line is 'made to make your mouth water'. Just what this quilt does!
