Triangles.........again..............

Saturday night I cut the fabric for the third Tilda quilt into 4" triangles.  I know you can't see the thread, but these are all sewn, more sewing after I write this post.  This will be a small quilt, all triangles.

I cut one of the pink peonies with the yellow shaggy center and have it in a bud vase in my bathroom.  I have 2 plants of this variety but only one has bloomed so far.  That means I can have one new bloom in a bud vase for over a week, maybe 2 weeks.  I'll probably cut a new one every 3 days.

My current favorite Coral Bell is blooming.  I had 2 of them last year, and 2 plants died over the winter.  I think one of them was the other like this.  I won't buy any more plants, I'll just transplant something from another location.

This is another early Coral Bell bloomer.  The flowers are a little softer color than the other plant has.  This one is usually filled with blooms by the middle of summer.  There is a larger leaf Coral Bell behind this one with leaves that are green on the front and purple on the back.

My little yellow Coneflower plant is looking healthy this year and has the start of a bud.

I watered my tomato plants and gave them a new topping of compost yesterday morning.  This is the Early Girl variety and is growing fast.  Even that little 1/4" of rain we got last week perked up the plants.

The plants in the 5 pots are doing well too.  The three in the middle in the large pots are 4th of July variety, and the one on each end of the row in smaller pots are the Rutgers variety.

How fun you’ll have peonies for a week or so. I have never been real successful getting tomatoes, other than cherry tomatoes, to grow very well. Yours look they are growing well.

Those fabric are pretty! What a gorgeous peony. Glad you are enjoying your coral bells. Your tomatoes look great, they've really grown.

My 98 cent cherry tomato plants are going bonkers, but even on those days we get rain, they suffer if I don't water them. They are loaded with fruit.

62 here this sunny morning--we have been told it will be a "warming up" week here for us...
Tom is out getting tomato plants for us...I am still staying away from crowds..

I just had to find your stitching of your triangles, and I did by enlarging the photo. Good eye exercise for me. 😊 and I so look forward to seeing this one grow. As usual your garden tour is always growing more lush by the day.

I can't wait to see what this Tilda quilt looks like. Your plants are growing so well! I did see that some of my cora bells have pink flowers on them. The cora bells you sent me are doing well.

your plants are all looking good. I put two sweet red peppers and a cucumber plant in a large pot on the deck so I can keep close eye on them for watering and not have to keep going to the garden to check on them. Another Tilda quilt will be nice

Flowers and plants look terrificly healthy. Love the Tilda quilt colors. I still have some planting to finish up before everything is full.

Either the deer or the rabbits eat my coral bells to the ground every winter. So it will be awhile before I have flowers. My one remaining peony is just starting to bloom. It's pink. We were in the 50's over the weekend and it's going to be 90 on Wed.

Don't you love the Tilda fabric! It seems to me softer than any other. I cut lots and lots of 4 1/2 inch squares last night and a few 2 1/2 inch strips. Not sure what they will become, but I'm pretty sure it will be fun finding out!
Love seeing all your pretty plants and all your beautiful quilting ideas!

I'm so happy you mention the size of the triangles for the Tilda quilt here, I have a die so should make pretty short work with that. An ideal second quilt for great granddaughter.
Thank you for having the photo of your peony, beautiful colour and I've never seen one with a shaggy centre before, then again thy don't grow well here in Auckland.
