Yesterday afternoon I put the very first Crooked Cobblestone quilt on the design wall and put the new one next to it (before binding was started). I was pretty sure the new one was longer.
Later in the day I sewed the binding on and started the hand stitching. I have one long side almost finished. It will probably take me at least 4 nights to get the hand sewing done.
I checked my tomato plants and there are 22 little tomatoes on the three 4th of July variety plants. There are blossoms but no tomatoes on the Rutgers or the Early Girl. Rain predicted for late last night into today. I hope it is only rain and no hail.

wow both so very colorful!!
I've always been fascinated by your cobblestone series. Very pretty!
I love the cobblestones - it is such an interesting pattern and you can use so many small pieces in it. More rain off and on the last couple days here. I planted my tomatoes in the second half of April and have not watered them or the berries once. I did notice the other day that I have two tomato plants larger than the others and fuller and greener. They are the last to start getting tomatoes on them.
That is a really pretty pattern, good luck with the quilting. Yay on the tomatoes! I picked my first 2 yesterday so they can ripen in the house.
Both are beautiful! We had a good rain yesterday afternoon for about an hour and a half so no mowing for me. Today the humidity is at 90% right now with rain forecasted late this morning.
When I saw your two quilts on the design wall, I immediately glanced over at my small cobblestone quilt that you made. They are all truly wonderful - timeless, colorful, intriguing, and beautiful to look at.
Cobblestone Delight today … such fun to see both hanging side by side. They show off your love of color and design.
Your crooked cobblestones quilts are all so very cool!
