I had a few sewing sessions yesterday, first finishing the 10 vertical seams between the columns and then sewing 8 cross seams out of 15. One more day of sewing on this one.
I cut the border strips and sewed them onto the table runner top.
I'm still trying to come up with a backing for this quilt. I have 5 1/4 yards of a matching print in lavender if I want to stay with Martha Negley fabric but not match colors front and back. This would continue the soft pastel look.
I found a one yard piece of another print that I could possibly use with the 4 yard print on the right but it would definitely give a chopped up look to the back. This one could become the next in line to be quilted if I could just make a decision.

Beautiful triangle quilt, you inspire me to step out of my square comfort zone & make triangles 😄 the lavender will make a nice compliment to the pink & green
I just love the Martha Negley fabric colors together. It will look real lovely quilted.
I love the lavender with the soft pink top. It captures the same vibe as the front (as my daughter would say)……Normally, my name automatically pops up when I make a comment but today it says “anonymous” and I had to add it. Wonder if there has been a program change?
I, too, love the lavender! I think the print, which echoes the front ties it together.
Beautiful! I do love that lavender, but either would be good. That is a pretty table runner too.
Of these two options, I like the lavender MN fabric the best. I agree that the other would not work as well.
The triangle Tilda top is looking great. You have a lot of beautiful MN fabric! Whichever fabric you pick for the back it will look good!
that is the one thing I never like about working with hst's is all the seams. The quilt is looking great
I also like the lavender. The green and pink backings seem to shout for attention and the attention should be on the pieced front.

This is great use of Tilda fabric! I love it! I have some!
I Like the pink and green for the backing myself. I can visualize the large piece in the center bordering each side with the other. The lavender looks really blue on my iPad. Love your table runner. And happy your triangles all sewn.
My minimalist daug. would vote for the lavender, "because it gives the eyes a place to rest, and it's quiet (for dyslexia)" w/pink binding. GD1 would agree. I think GD2 would vote for the pink/greens because she is bold, confident, and prefers saturated colors. So many of my fabric decisions are being made through their lenses. Either choice will be lovely.
Your Tilda Triangles look very straight, proper, & lady-like. Laura
