Errand day....................

Sorry, nothing to show for yesterday.  I did grocery shopping and watered the volunteer tomato plant at my neighbor's house because she is out of town for a few days.

I had 2 sessions of quilting around the centers of the Crooked Cobblestone blocks, 23 for the day's total.  52 to go.

We had something between a mist and a drizzle yesterday.  There was enough to wet the grass and the leaves on the plants but not enough to measure.  We are in a moderate drought area and towns just 30 miles away have gotten rain when we didn't get any or very little.  We keep hoping it will be our turn soon.

No precip here at all. It went from partly cloudy to mostly cloudy and back again.

nice to get the errand day out of the way but it does make for a no progress day most of the time in the sewing area

Sometimes you just have to devote your energy to doing errands. We've had a rainy and cooler than normal spring. The trees and grass are lushly green, but the annuals are slow to get started. I finished planting the pots for the deck, but still have some tall spindly snapdragons to find a home for in the garden.

Some days (or more) are like that - stuff that NEEDS to be done takes up all the time/energy. We did get rain last night and this morning. Hope you get some soon.
