Last year when I was finishing my flannel quilt production I cut a lot of 2" finished triangles. Most were dark so yesterday I looked for some light scraps to cut more triangles. I got 54 sewn while watching TV last night.
There are lots more dark triangles waiting for their partner. I'll look for some more light fabrics today.
I had also cut a lot of floral triangles from waste areas when cutting for my quarter square triangle last year. I needed to cut light ones, so while I had the triangle die out, I looked for light scraps and cut a batch of them too. This should give me some night sewing for the rest of the week.
While I had the iron on, I pressed fabrics for the Plaid-ish quilt too and got some pieces cut. I'll get more done on that today.

What lovely groups of triangles--you should have fun working with these...;)))
I got my Strawberries backed and layered early this morning..all pinned and ready to do some S L O W hand quilting--
it'll probably take me forever--but this one needs hand quilting i think...
22 degrees with windchills in the low teens..brrr
We are off to Home Depot this morning to choose flooring for our laundry room--it is way past time to get rid of the old, worn stuff!!
Even when we thoroughly clean it, it looks dirty!! :((((

It is good to have no-brainer sewing for the evenings while you have your shows on TV. I just organized my flannel and I have so much I need to work on! I have strips to sew together, units that need to be sewn into 9 patch blocks, and blocks that need to be sew into tops.
Love the fabrics - are you piecing these by hand?
You're "sewing" seeds for another wonderful quilt.
Good looking progress photos ~ seeing hours of sewing ahead of you. As usual you keep working in your studios like none other. 2025 is off to a great start .
What wonderful HSTs both flannel and florals and am amazed that those represent only a week of sewing time for you! Applause, applause!
Hugs!
Prep work is essential but geez it takes time! Happy sewing.
It will be great to have a boatload of ready HSTs for a project done!
