Sorting and binding............

I needed to clean up all of the Kaffe fabrics now that the Plaid-ish quilt top is finished.  I pulled all of the most pastel pieces out of the stack of light scraps.  I want to use them soon.

The afternoon was spent finishing working with the end of the batting roll.  I had to throw 2 of the pieces in the dryer with a damp towel because they were so wrinkled.

Last night I started the binding on the table runner I quilted last Sunday.  I hope to quilt the other table runner with the same fabrics today.  The binding is already cut for that one to so maybe I'll even get it trimmed and binding sewn on.

Pretty binding on your table runner...;))) I never thought to de-wrinkle batting like that--thanks for a great idea...sometimes even ironing won't release the wrinkles...
33 here this gray morning; looks like it might snow...I can't recall how long ago we've had snow on the ground for this long...
this January really feels like Winter...

The back on your table runner is perfect, lovely autumn colors. We received a light dusting of snow here at our CA cabin last night. We fly home to PA tomorrow and there’s no snow in the forecast there so hopefully it will be an uneventful flight. Can’t wait to get back to my home quilting room :)

What a great back for the autumn runner! And, yes, the last part on a roll of batting is usually wrinkled and raggedly-cut. Enjoy the sunshine!

I hadn't thought to put batting in the dryer to de-wrinkle

What a delicious array of happy pastels and love the table runner!
I was busy yesterday so just now saw Plaidish and it's wonderful. Well done!
Putting wrinkled batting in the dryer with a damp cloth is new to me, too. Thanks for the tip!
It's to be 52*F here today so maybe, hopefully, the last of the frozen snow will melt.

Hugs!
