A quilt from 2002
The last time I went to QSDS (Quilt Surface Design Symposium) was in 2002. I had heard that David Walker was going to retire from teaching and I wanted one more class with him. This was a weekend class and was based on Tarot cards. Through a certain process we found out which card we were and what our number was. I don't remember the formula or which cards but I can see that my number was 3.
I think that I have shown every quilt now in the 22 months that I have been blogging. They are all there in the archives. On one of my posts I listed how many quilts I had already shown but I can't find it.

It turned out to be a beautiful day yesterday, warmer than they predicted. I'll take some more days like that, thank you.

Classes are always a must for me with quilters that I just adore. It looks like this quilt was a winner. I love it. I hope you have some more warmer days too, because that means that we will have them. This weekend was a little on the cool side for us. We went to a wedding, which was outdoors, it rained and was about 50 degrees. I couldn't wait to get into the warm building for the reception. I am just a warm weather girl at heart.

Sounds like fun! But despite the Tarot and the formula, it's still a Wanda quilt -- look at that big zebra circle!

Very nice. I should start taking classes sometimes. Around here they are usually very traditional and not really up my alley. This one would be though.

Love the leaves and the butterfly! They really pop!

Wish I had taken pics of some of the quilts I gave away or were auctioned! I have no idea how many I've made. No idea whatsoever.

What a wonderful quilt! Thank you for sharing all your quilts. I am going to have to go through your archives to view a special Exuberant Color quilt show.

That is a beauty... Love those hearts and the composition of it. I'm not sure I believe you that you have shown ALL of your quilts... Whenever you begin to look for something that you know you stashed away, you find another piece that you had forgotten about. (*._,*)

As I walked away from the computer... I thought my gosh I should have thanked her for all that you have shared with us over the 22 months of posting. It has been the most exciting, inspirational blog for me. Plus the FREE tutorials that you have shared has helped me learn more about the quilting world.

THANK YOU WANDA !

I love your Tarot quilt! What a great result. I was once told I was the Empress of something, which I have forgotten!

i wish I had known about David Walker when he was still teaching since I love what he has done! He reminds me of Sue Benner and she reminds me of him for some weird reason! :)) I love the quilt you made. It's really interesting!
