Frothy pinkness.......
The first peonies are blooming. I will have lots I can pick for bouquets later this week.
In the meantime here are the very first flowers.
My company has all gone home, I am exhausted, a happy exhaustion from seeing so many in my family. The laundry is done and I hope to turn on a sewing machine tonight. See you all tomorrow.

The flowers are gorgeous, and love the quilted runner the vase is sitting on! Glad you had a nice visit from your family.
I can't tell you how many times I think I have to have something else done before I turn on my machine (laundry, dishes, etc.). But the times I seem to put the chores off until later and sew first, are the most productive!

I also love the flowers and the table runner. Is that something you just put together. I would love something like that.

My absolute favorite flower, but they don't grow well for me. I have severe Peony Envy this time of year!

Peonies are one of my favorite flowers - the dark red ones, especially. I can smell yours from here...

Peonies are absolutely my favorite flower and, unfortunately, they don't grow here in So Cal. At least they haven't for me. So, I satisfy myself with hydrangeas...my next favorite flower. Yours are soooo beautiful

Glad you had such a good visit with everyone! That first photo is gorgeous, and the second one shows how fabulous those flowers look on that quilted table runner!

From your great photos, I can smell the flowers and I can feel their satiny softness. Cool table runner, Wanda.

Love those peonies! You have to enjoy them while they're out, as the blooming seems fairly short-lived.

And that table runner complements the flowers so nicely!

So beautiful. And I don't know that I've seen a red one like that. Mine are slightly ahead of yours, and with the hard rain last night, they are looking a bit bedraggled.

Wonderful to see you back. I just love peonies...I used to put HUGE bouquets of them on my DR table to the short time they were around.

What a wonderful happy bouquet to bring some happiness to you at this time. I love peonies, but mine are not in bloom just yet.

Your peonies are gorgeous, I can almost smell them through the computer screen ;-).

Beautiful peonies. Glad your blog is better. I missed you.

Very fitting. I think they bloomed at this point for a reason. Your mom lives on in a beautiful way...through memories of a loving family and I think that she wants all of you to smile and rest assured that she is watching over things.
