Progress

I made a few more double 4 patch blocks, some for the edge and 2 for the center. I have 11 more to make. I had all of the leftover 2.5" and 4.5" strips on a tray and there aren't enough combinations left so I have to do some more cutting. I did get the 2 side borders on the Turning Twenty Again top and cut the 2 pieces for the back so now it will get finished.
The sun is shining but it is still below freezing as it has been the last 2 days. I'm ready for a warm day!

This is looking so nice...I love it. Your balance of lights and darks is very pleasing to the eye!

Love the blue/green/purples too, that one is just eye candy.

I am with you on the warm day needed! I am so tired of the cold! Soon, that should all change! I love these blues, purple and greens! It is delightful to gaze at all the different fabrics!

Did I understand right that this wonderful arrangement of color is the back? This quilt will be truly reversible.

They are both looking great. I hear that we are to have warmer weather this weekend, above freezing even. Hope you have the same. Well, maybe you want a bit warmer than just above freezing. Lol.

Pretty, pretty. We had weather in the 80's just a week ago and then the cold front came in and 40's. We are getting such much needed rain, though.

We are actually having snow here today! The Bradford Pear tress are in bloom and it's snowing. Weird.
I really love the basket blocks!

They are looking terrific! It truly is amazing what progress you can make when you put your mind to it! I think for once we aren't going to get your weather. They are predicting warmer weather all weekend. And it hasn't been too cold either.

Hi Wanda,
Love those basket blocks (or are they cake stand blocks). The light blue here and there in the background really gives it a sparkle.

Hi Wanda,
Lovely, really lovely. Will the top and bottom "end" in the basket blocks or? Do you have a specific size in mind?
