I posted this picture on August 12 and said I was still adding rows to it. I think it is finally done with rows added to both the top and bottom.
For me this one has a path that leads in through the center bottom to a wonderful place filled with light. I don't try to make realistic landscapes. I like impressionist ones where you make up your own story. Do any of you out there like this type too?

I really love this kind of landscape but I don't have a large enough stash to do it successfully. I do really enjoy watching yours come together though.
I love to look at them, I don't think I would enjoy trying to make one...
I do prefer more impressionistic scenes in general...
With quilts, I prefer those that own up to being quilts over the ones that look hyper realistic... (but I can appreciate those as well.)
YES!!!!
I love seeing them but I can NOT do them!
I love these quilts. I have often wished to make one, but feel a design wall is a necessity for making one.
That is just beautiful.
I love the drama of the quilt and YOUR STORY that accompanies it. Today it hit home in more ways than one. It was the message I needed to hear. And what you see is what I felt also.

I love how the light seems to be coming from behind the quilt. I love it!
