The binding on this Tilda Whimsey quilt might take about 5 nights for the hand stitching. That will still make it in as a finish for April.
I had several balls of cotton yarn in this coloration but in the others there was a wide stripe of coral color next to the brown. This one looks like they ran out of dye when they were making it. This is a strange one. There is enough yarn left to make one smaller dishcloth but I may just use some of it in a multicolor one where I'm using all of the short leftover ends.
The earliest Hostas are filling in fast. This one is a fairly small plant so it is close to its full size now.
It got up to 80 yesterday. I'm starting to see more birds now after a winter with very few. I checked out the back garden and lots more Hostas are coming up. The lilies and Peonies are getting tall. More 80s predicted at the beginning of next week. Spring is definitely here.

Wow seems like spring just zoomed in for you! Your Hosta is so pretty. I love them but have not successfully "summered" one yet. The only shade we have is from big crape myrtles, and they need more than that. Mine disappeared after two summers!
yes we are getting more 80-degree days here....no doubt a/c will be on next week
Lovely binding choice for the Tilda Ladies quilt...Our garden guy is supposed to come today to finish the long strip by our front walk--he will be planting some shrubs and doing a clean-out of that area (if and when he comes!!).
60 here and partly clouded over skies..my bleeding hearts are about to bloom and the magnolia tree is festooned with flowers--soo pretty...
Hugs for a great weekend...Julierose

Always fun to see the action you put into each day. And in 80 degree temperatures yet. Thats what we call summer temps here in the mountains
A beautiul quilt and how great to be at the binding part...the finish line. How neat to be into summer already. My hostas are just coming out of the snow, LOL>
Getting to the binding stage is always a joy. Almost done. Hooray.
