Two sides and 3 corners are done on this binding. The batik fabric takes a little longer to hand stitch through.
We finally got some rain yesterday morning, two rain gauges with different amounts, 1/2" in one and 8 tenths in another. I still haven't decided which one is the accurate one. More rain predicted overnight last night.

Still loving that batik binding! Our rain gauge is going to crack from dryness. ;)
You do the Prettiest work! Love this...

I missed that the stripe was a batik. That does take longer to hand stitch, but it looks so good! It sprinkled here this morning and there is a chance of rain tonight. That will hurt the crowd size for tonight's show.
I love stripe binding.
Nice progress on your binding and to see a bit more of the top itself. I look forward to its full photo.
Your binding fabric looks just right with the quilt's fabrics.
72.9 here with 68 DP--so pretty humid ..
Hugs, Julierose
Rain yesterday, clear today. The stripe is perfect!
That binding is looking good! I've also found batik a bit more difficult to hand-stitch through.
A bit of rain - maybe - tomorrow morning and overnight Sunday night but probable of Monday. Oddly, our forecast highs for Tuesday and Wednesday is 78*F ... in August, in Virginia, usually the hottest month (or it used to be).
Hugs!
Rain is good even though it might ruin our picnic. My lawn really needs it.
Great... and I particularly like the striped edging too.
Well done. I currently have two finished tops in the quilt shop - there is a long wait here - I think I can show it on the blog in September. And they are my first large quilts.
I quilt the smaller pieces myself :-)))
A hug to you and congratulations on your beautiful blanket.
