New fabric.............

Did anyone else find some fabric on Black Friday that you couldn't live without?  I got a stack of 10" squares in this Leslie Tucker Jenison line called Wishwell Weather Report.   It just looks like winter in a good way to me.  Speaking of winter they have taken accumulating snow out of our weather forecast and the 8-14 day forecast is for warmer than usual.  We will get some cold days before that like today in the 20s by the end of the day.  Now back to cleaning out that hallway closet............

I can see why you couldn't resist this fabric, lots of glorious colours to play around with. Good to know your weather isn't too cold but I hope it doesn't catch you out at a later date. I just wonder how much it will affect the garden plants and make them 'wake-up' thinking it's Spring.

Love, love, love that fabric! I will have to do a bit of searching to see if I can find some. I just bought batting for Black Friday. It was nice out most of the weekend, but I stayed inside working at projects that need to get done. I did enjoy that sunshine though! Today it is overcast and raining which made it hard to drive to work at 6:10 this morning.

love the fabric - I found some fabric but mainly concentrated on expanding my accuquilt die collection.
We ended with a measly quarter inch of rain and now chilly in the 40's and I don't think they expect anymore rain for the week!!! (the weather man kept saying 1-2 inches I didn't believe him)

Lovely fabric--it does look like a snowy landscape;))) Nice treat!
Today we are having rains, winds, and 55 degree temps--Strange for
December...hugs, Julierose

I managed not to shop on Black Friday this year. I ordered some of her Warehouse District fabric but it turned out to be a heavy linen weave. Gorgeous but not what I typically sew with. Her lines are all wonderful - including this newest one. Weather wise we are about to drop 40 degrees over the course of today - then yo-yo between 29 and 70 (extremes) for another few days before we settle into a more standard cooler range.

I did look at that fabric, but there seemed to be no darks in it. I am still trying to find a fabric line with gradients in it for a different bargello quilt. It is very pretty.

Oh, what a great bundle of fabric! I haven't heard of that line, but I would've snapped it up if I had! We don't have any snow here either, although north of us is getting a good douse of it. It looks sunny and warm outside, but it is very cold today, so I'll be staying indoors, hopefully sewing a bit.

I did get a bit of fabric for a Halloween quilt. I'm still trying to find a spot on the shelves to put it. I really hope my sewing picks back up again soon!! It really hasn't returned from being kicked to the curb by weeding last spring/summer.

I like this fabric! It reminds me of looking out a frosty window without my glasses on - I can see the frost but beyond that is just blurs of color.

I admit it- I bought too much fabric on Black Friday. But with the price of everything climbing and climbing I felt a need to stock up while I could. (And I NEEDED everything I bought!)
We had rain all day yesterday and now it will be dreary and gray.

I agree those are wonderful fabrics and they shout winter snow and frost. Wish well Weather Report. Love it !

I’m not one to run south in the winter, I enjoy all seasons but the muddy spring thaw days are not fun.

Sounds like you’re getting our above normal weather days we’ve been behaving here in the mountains. But finally we’ve got cold brisk weather and I love it. Some snow in the mountains but none in the valley yet.

Those fabrics are awesome! I don't usually buy commercial fabric but I'd get those.
