Lazy day......

I just couldn't get going on anything yesterday.  I really can't tell you what I did.  Last night I sewed one block with the other pieces that are on the same die as the top blocks.  One of the ideas on the sheet that came with the die was to use the 2 together so I laid out a half block to the left of the whole pinwheel.

This morning I need to prepare the last 9 packages from the pop-up shop sales and deliver them to the post office.  Then my plan is to figure out which quilt I am going to finish before the end of the month.

It's supposed to get close to 90 degrees today with a couple more days above 80 in the middle of the week.  No rain predicted all week.  It's too much like summer for me.  I'm ready for fall weather.

35 packages to pack, label, and mail - that is a lot of work! I am glad you did so well at your pop up shop. Yes, this week is the end of the month already!

I have days like that too. Sometimes we just need to rest.

In the 80s here all week but the air is different and it feels much more like fall. The light is different too. Perfect outdoor weather for rock painting and hanging out with the little one for a weekend and an extra day.

How many years has it been since you have felt like doing nothing ? You’ve out done us all over and over again.

Good for you selling so much in your pop-up shop! You deserve a break for your body and your brain. I just received a copy of Kaffe's new book In the Studio. Oh my goodness! What eye candy! It is so nice to see inside his world. My weaver's guild brought him to Atlanta years ago when he was knitting and he did a trunk show with us modeling. Like you, I've been following him a long time.

I find it hard to believe that you ever have a "lazy day". But I am hoping that you enjoy it to the fullest :-)

Nice quilt!
DO you recall the name of the die?
Just catching up on blogs. We moved from Missouri to Oregon a few weeks ago and I haven't had time to sew, quilt, or read blogs. Enjoying your lovely projects and garden and SO glad I took a class with you (Watercolor Quilts) several Octobers ago while I was still in driving distance.
Do your neighbors have their overthe-top Halloween display up again this year? That was something
