Still working on kits...........

I cut the 42 pink, red and burgundy fabrics for the 24 kits.  This photo shows 132 squares so far.

I continue with a mock up to see what is missing as I continue cutting.

This is all of the left over end pieces so far.  I have several little bags full of the leftovers from previous kits I have cut.

I will be sending the skinny little leftovers from die cutting to a friend who needs them for a project.

I gathered and pressed the fabrics for the 6" hole in the barn door a/k/a churn dash blocks for the Farm Girl Vintage quilt but didn't get around to cutting them.

Still beautiful cooler less humid weather here.  It's almost chilly as I sit here typing.  I just checked the weather on the phone and it says it is 56 degrees so I guess that is why it might be called chilly.

Lots of cutting going on for you!!Such beautiful color blending...

Our weather is a lovely 58 degrees this morning...and low low humidity levels--aaah so nice. A little respite until the humid weather returns this week...
I am still folding and re-folding --I have a whole lot of VERY BIG image prints that I wonder why I even bought...[sometimes online fabric buying can be deceptive].
I guess they will become backings...or they will be cut up into scraps...and so the process continues...hugs, Julierose

So much work going into your color wash kits and to do a mockup along with it yet. To those that buy the kit,.... will be wise to print out your mock up. (^._.^)

Lucky friend!! Those batiks are gorgeous - and your mock-up is like a road map for your students. I'm glad the weather is cooling down for you - it's much more enjoyable than hot and humid - and you've had enough of that - ;))

We've been away for 3 days - the weather was so hot, high 70's - so happy to be back home, out of the sun. I've got a lot of catching up to do; looking forward to seeing what you've been up to :)

It's been a big change in the weather for us too. As soon as school started, the weather took a turn for the better. We can finally breathe and walk at our normal pace and distance now.
