29 inches................
All of a sudden I realized the end of the month is almost here and I don't have the binding done for a finish this month. I have 29 inches left to hand stitch and I'll do it today so I can get the quilt photographed before midnight tomorrow. I have to take all of the blocks off my design wall that has the best lighting so I can hang it there for its photo.

Deadlines! they are the good, the bad and the ugly side of progress!!! I've missed more lately than ever... but who's counting???
It's a good thing there are 31 days in August. I am working on finishing up my mini for the month, but I haven't even quilted it yet, so the binding is a little bit aways.
Laugh out loud on this one!!!! Reminds me of my school days. I need to finish my binding before our next guild meeting and sure hope that I take advantage of the somewhat cooler weather now and enjoy this task as i sit outside, By the way, congratulations on your finish.
Knowing you, you've finished the binding already or close to it, by now. Nothing wrong with a deadline you've set for yourself.

Good for you!! Since I retired - I don't DO deadlines anymore - it makes my "playtime" too much like "work" - but then again, it's probably just me - LOL - ;))
Hi Wanda, You may have answered this, but I couldn't find it. What is the script background fabric on the X and + quilt. Love the way this one has come together.
