Sample blocks...........

I made 2 sample blocks awhile back trying out the 4" triangle in a square die.  They can be used for star points but I saw this layout in a quilt magazine years ago and thought it looked like a wonky flower.  It is on my "want to do" list.

The second offering of my online Colorwash360 class will be open for enrollment this week, email going out very soon.  If you haven't previously signed up for early access on my mailing list and would like info on the class go HERE to sign up. (If you are signed up and don't get an email soon, check your junk/spam folder.  I find a lot of good things going there lately.)

Go HERE to view students' work from my October 2018 online Colorwash360class.  They did an amazing job on their projects.      I updated Julie's photo and added one more student photo yesterday.

That is an interesting arrangement that make the block look more complicated than it is. I had to study your picture before I realized each of the four patches in the block were the same isosceles triangle. I really like the light color background fabric too!

That is a very cute block!

I remember that design from Quiltmaker -- years and years ago. Theirs was red. Every time I begin to work with isosceles triangles I think about this version (but not enough to make a bunch of blocks).

Those look like fun blocks.

You're like a magician, always pulling out another surprise from your hat . And you juggle them all with ease. That's why I check in daily to see what else you have up your sleeve. (^._.^) A nice precision triangle in a square, I know you will have fun designing with this one.

Love your test blocks - that's going to be really pretty! My list of "want to do someday" has a similar pattern in green with the units reversed left/right. It looks more complicated than it really is - my kind of block - LOL - ;))

I have a bunch of triangle in a square block made for a mystery quilt that I stopped doing. This might work for them. Thanks for the idea.
