Pressing, cutting, gathering..........

I pressed one more batch of Tilda fabrics and then cut the first 2 groups into the size pieces for the left side of the blocks.  I usually don't cut a whole quilt at once but I need the whole variety of fabrics (about 25 of them) so I can do the layout of each block.

I did more hand stitching on the green binding but no photo.

I decided to go through all of my Kaffe fabrics and pull all of the purples.  I know a couple are missing from this photo and I'll look for them today.  I also need to go through the Brandon and Philip fabrics because I know there are some more purples there.  Some of these may not make it into the quilt if I decide to go ahead with my idea.

It's still cold here, 2 yesterday morning and I think the high was around 10.  Last night around 5 degrees.  By Monday we will be in the 40s.

The purple Kaffe print on the bottom right is one of my favorites of his. I just love it.

What a beautiful assortment of fabrics! They will be perfect for this pattern. We were not nearly as cold as you.

The pattern looks like a great way to show off a group of bold prints. And the purple pull is delicious.

What a fun pattern laid out for your Tilda fabrics, and your beautiful collection of purples is amazing.

What delicious purples and the two Wimsey quilt fabrics in that photo are wonderful. What fabrics hide under those two fabrics?!
It's 24*F here this morning and it's still snowing but the flakes are a tad larger today.

Hugs!

I'm late looking at blogs today - looks like it is just a little colder up north right now - it was 6 degrees this morning - the heat has been running all day as it won't get past mid-20's today at least the sun is shining . I haven't turned on the machine today, a little hand work and cleaning has been going on here. Love those fabrics.
