All cut............

I finished pressing and cutting the rest of the fabrics for the last two shapes for the Tilda Whimsey quilt.  I have also cut strips for a 16 patch and one other quilt.

I spread out the fabric for each group and also added 4 fabrics at the bottom right that I can add if I need more contrast in one of the shapes.  I might not start sewing these into blocks until Saturday.

I worked on the hand sewing of the binding on this green Kaffe Rosy quilt last night.  I have about 3/4 of one short side left to stitch.

Did you ever have a dream you wanted to repeat?  A couple weeks ago in my dream I was talking to friends and digging to the bottom of a chest of some sort to show them some quilt tops I was really excited about.  They were tops someone had given to me and had large folk art type applique on them.  I had the dream again but couldn't get to the bottom of the chest to find them in that dream.  I really want to see those quilt tops again.

Love those Tilda's with the people on them!! So neat;))) Good job getting all your cutting done for the project, Wanda.
Funny how some things in your dreams seem "just" out of reach....my Mom often "visits" me in my dreams...
Laundry today and then watching the Red Sox play their Northeastern exhibition game this afternoon when maybe I can do a bit of stitching...
20 degrees here but really, really windy!!
Hope you have a good weekend Hugs, Julierose

What a tantalizing dream! And the Tilda prints are just dreamy, too.

I don't know. about your dream ( how to make it return) but I did go and look up the Rosy quilt (jn two of his books - Quilt Road and Quilts in an English Village). Next time I'm in the studio, I plan to look those up. I love your greens!!

Did you cut all the Tilda fabric out using your GO!? After experiencing the magic of a die cutter, no wonder you get so much done! You have really good dreams! I don't think I have ever dreamed about quilts.

I used to experience repeat dreams but that has been a long time since I had one of them. The fabrics look lovely

Repeated dreams are a recognized phenomenon; also sometimes thinking of a dream issue as one goes to sleep can in theory guide a dream a certain way. Of course one does not always remember dreams. Too bad, it would be interesting to hear about those quilts!

I had never known about Tilda fabrics until you introduced them. I looked her up on line and was fascinated with ALL her products. Her style is so unique among all others, and they stand out immediately in anyone’s collection.

Your Whimsy quilt fabrics certainly shows off Tilda fabrics at their best.

Well done on all of that fabric cutting! That puts you at the head of the game on those next projects! Love the Wimsey fabrics.
Hope our frozen snow starts melting today.

Hugs!

These fabrics are much different than your usual picks, more vintage and less jewel like in color. It will be fun to see how you use them :)

Lovely selection of fabrics Wanda. I took on your suggestion (your email) re cutting, I see that we do both have a few of the same fabrics. This design I will make for my great-granddaughter.

That sounds like a great dream. Yes, I have had quilt dreams that made me want to dream again so I could get a closer look at the quilt. The fabrics are beautiful - I especially like the one with the ladies.
