I worked on the larger pieced blocks for my new project last night.
I had one more treat to bake yesterday morning for the family. I delivered all of the treats to the person who is travelling. Of course I kept a few for myself. A few got stashed in the freezer so I'm set for a couple weeks.
I have given up on the idea of quilting a large quilt this month. I think the Charley in the Forest quilt top will have to be on stage by itself in my monthly recap.

I have kind of put a stop to baking for awhile. I used up all my butter stock and to replenish - well, butter is expensive! I am waiting for it to go on sale over the holidays; well, I hope it goes on sale. I read the butter stockpile is the lowest it had been in a long time.
Lovely blocks, what are those twisted yummies?
Nice work from your blocks to your Kringlas.

Charley in the Forest deserves to be showcased by itself!! It is so beautiful. I hope everyone remembered to click on your photograph to enlarge it. The small photos just don’t do it justice. I bet it’s breathtaking in person! Your new blocks are pretty. Looking forward to seeing them laid out together. We are expecting Hurricane Ian to hit in the morning. (Charleston/Mount Pleasant, SC) The wind has really picked up already.
