I decided I didn't want to put away piles of light triangles in the project box so I sewed more together and then sewed them into strips. Now I can pack up the box and put it away until next Sunday.
I wish I could press these now but I need to wait until I have my layout solidified and then press up and down for nesting seams.
Some are really low contrast but that's the way they were in the inspiration quilt (shown yesterday).
I had to look back in my blog posts for the number of strips already done and it was 80, so now I have 92 done. I need to make a decision how big this quilt is going to be so I know how many triangle strips I need.
I ordered a pizza for delivery last night and then started mowing the grass. I got the whole front yard done before the pizza came. I have part of the side yard and the backyard to do.

Your work is always stunning. I am very much enjoying watching your work on both this one and the arboretum quilt. Thank you for posting daily. It is such an inspiration.
The low contrast strips are pretty. There is finally sunshine here after 4 or 5 days of overcast skies and rain. It will take a couple days of drying out before I will be able to mow. I just know the weeds are waiting for me to pull them. The temps are finally cooling a bit, but the humidity is still pretty high.
I really like the low contrast strips a lot--nice work...calming...

that is always one of the main things I miss about living in the country - no pizza delivery!!! you have to go get it, you can order in advance but you still have to go get it and try to keep it warm until you get back home or have the need to heat it up in the oven a little - microwave is not good for pizza you need the crispiness the oven gives
Those lighter sets of triangles are just wonderful - I know lots of folks don't like "low volume" or "low contrast" but they are going to make your quilt sparkle!
There are many ‘Low volume’ strips in your inspiration piece. I scrolled back to take a peak and yours are much prettier.
Pizza is a great supper after mowing your yard. Friday night is our pizza night, wether the yard needs mowing or not. (*._.*)

Those look so nice. Our last pizza place just redesigned their routes and no longer deliver in our area. :-(
If you are lucky enough to have a seat warmer in your car,use it to keep your pizza warm! Not an original Idea; I saw it somewhere, probably Pinterest
I very rarely use low volume fabrics but the ones here are perfect if you're going with the inspiration quilt. I've had the idea of using a few more lighter KFC fabrics, they seem to have a few softer colours right now.
