The binding is cut and sewn onto the Martha Negley fabric quilt. I hand stitched about 15" of it.
Here I go matching my quilt and nature photos again.
I went out in full sun to get this photo. The back part of the bush is already in shade by noon.
And because the Zinfin Doll Hydrangea is so pretty, here is a little closer shot.
The plant I showed last week has a few more blooms. There is another plant growing in a crack that might be another of these. I think 2 years ago I decided this is a Gloriosa Daisy Rudbeckia.

Zinfin Doll is so pretty!! It's gotten a lot bigger.
62 here and overcast this morning [smoke from the North hazing our skies here].
Have fun finishing up the binding work hugs, Julierose
Gosh those are gorgeous hydrangeas, and yes they match that quilt perfectly. I wish my Mom was still alive for many reasons, but especially so I could buy her that hydrangea! She planted one I sent her from a florist one year, and it grew and bloomed so well and looked very pretty with all her roses. When she moved to live with us, the hydrangea I bought her is what she hated most to leave behind.
Pretty rudbeckias! And another one in the crack - I'm beginning to think your flowers might prefer living in that crack. ;)
Do your hydrangeas survive your winter, or do you shelter them in your garage? They are lovely.
The hydrangea is so pretty!
My mother loved hydrangeas. You have another near-finish for August!
You were so right that the binding fabric would be an excellent choice!
Your flowers are so pretty and add so much wonderful color to your garden!
Hope your weather is cool like ours is.
Hugs!
that is a pretty hydrangea flower and the flowers are always so big love that
Beautiful flowers and for the record, I like it when your quilts coordinate with your flowers.
