It is getting toward the end of the month so I decided I need to get something finished. I quilted this table runner and mug rug first, trimmed them, cut binding and finished the binding on the mug rug.
I don't think the quilting shows up much but I quilted both of the table runners like this one and I'll get them trimmed this morning and cut binding. I have Warm and Natural batting in all of these and it can be quilted quite far apart so I ditch quilted the seams where the 4" blocks joined and no quilting within the blocks.
I'm still just getting small tomatoes and I don't know how our cool down will affect the plants. I'm hoping they will like this weather better and grow larger fruit.

Great finishes--Wanda;)))
57 here this morning with the sun rising...looking forward to seeing my daughter and my grands tomorrow for lunch...
hugs, Julierose
I sure like the backing on that second photo! Hopefully your maters will like the cool and get nice and big. :)
Yay for finishes! I had a small table runner kit here at our cabin that I got cut out yesterday. It was the first day in the high 90’s and humidity or not, with no air conditioning, it was hot! In the 60’s this morning and it sure feels good!
Well done in getting these smaller projects finished - just the right projects for the end of the month! I, too, love that colorful backing fabric in the 2nd photo.
Wishing your tomatoes a burst of growing energy!
High in the low 80s*F here with a low of 63*F tonight. Nice. The humidity has dropped to 47%! How about that?!
Hoping to get the Bernina to the dining room table today so I can sew borders on the baby quilt, then machine quilt it.
Hugs!
Finishes feel so good -- and your runners turned out really well. It is delightfully cooler the past couple of days with less humidity. I've enjoyed sitting outside to read (it's been a while since I could).
That mug rug is so cute!
