I looked for a backing for the Hunter Star table runner and found another block for a table mat that could use the same backing. Quilting time soon.
I finished the layout of the floral quilt and started sewing it together yesterday. There were 8 vertical seams for the webbing, and now I have 6 of the 11 cross seams sewn.
I also got the backing pressed for the huge 16 patch made of Marcia Derse fabric while I had the iron on.
My granddaughter sent me a photo of my great-grandson holding the fudge I made for him. He looked pretty happy! I know I'm happy, eating the fudge that I kept for myself.

Love that Wonky Windmill backing you chose..and the floral piece will be so lovely;)))
Oh fudge--yum--I only make it for Christmas season otherwise I'd be eating it all the time hahaha!
Only 53 this morning-but a lovely sunrise...a few little breezes so far...I hope the rest of your weekend is wonderful...
Hugs, Julierose
I like the sort of tessellated effect of the windmills. And you get another one out of the box! Nice butterfly print for the back, too. Enjoy the day!
Isn't it great to get a picture of your gift being enjoyed? So thoughtful of your granddaughter. Now I wish I had some fudge, but I know I would eat it all up at once and regret it later.

I love that hunter star block! What is the one right below it, looks kind of like a windmill? I like that one too.
Yay on the fudge! What recipe do you use? Nuts or no?
Love all your projects but that floral quilt is wonderful! So vibrant, just like being in your back garden.
Your block boxes are certainly contain treasures, like crumbs leading from one interesting project to the next!
Nice that the butterfly fabric suits both of your small quilts.
Yum! Confirmation that your gift of fudge is being well and truly enjoyed!!
Hugs!
Just know I always enjoy your daily posts even when I don’t leave a comment. Fabrics and your creative design’s are always inspirational. And you know I’m not even a quilter.
all that and you grew cucumbers!!

lol glad you kept some of the fudge for yourself - I haven't had any since Christmas which is about the only time I make it. Always love the Hunter Star pattern
Two more pretty table runners! That was so nice you got a picture of the great grandson eating the fudge you sent. I sent my nephew's little ones a card and 5 dollars for their birthdays and they sent me a video of them opening the cards up. It was so fun to see that.
