Table mats finished.............

The two table runners are made from the same batch of fabric but the layouts aren't identical.  I decided to finish them alike in case someone needs a pair.  They are each 12" x 36".

The third table runner and mug rug are also made with the same group of fabrics.  The table runner is 12" x 29.75" and the mug rug is 7.5" x 8.25".

The backs are pretty enough to be used face up part of the time.

Yesterday afternoon I cut the batting and seamed the backing for the Marcia Derse 16 patch quilt so it is ready to go to the longarmer as soon as I press the backing.

I had to look again to figure out how the layouts differ. Got it! (One is light/dark/ligh/dark and the other is dark/light/dark/light.)

Lovely finishes on those table runners, Wanda--the backs are definitely great to use too. ;)))
Food shopping this a.m.--69 here now after my coffee and cheese danish treat;))) Resting hands today--maybe some glue booking will be in order...hugs, Julierose

Pretty table runners and what a good idea to use the same binding fabric on both in case someone needs two! Yes, the backing fabrics make the runners reversible and are so lovely.
Years ago, I made hubby's aunts flip and sew table runners that were also reversible. They were delighted.
As usual, you're on a roll!

Hugs!

I love the checkerboard ends on the table runner that go so nicely with the checkerboard mug mat. I’ve rounded the third corner, so two sides and a corner to go on the queen sized quilt!

I like all of them - I never thought to make a table mat out of a piece of cloth that I have that I have never been able to use. Jessica brought me back a piece of blue cloth from Japan when she went there a couple years ago - I think a table mat will be good that way I won't need to cut it up.
