Lazy day........................

Yesterday was a thinking day instead of a doing day.  I decided these blocks will go up on the design wall today.

Yesterday there was an open house 1-3 at the tiny house across the street.  It has 720 square feet and the listing says it has a full basement.  I was only in the house once, many years ago, and all I remember is how small it is.  There were lots of people stopping to tour it.  Two things I'm sure, caught people's attention.  One is the brand new steel roof on the house and the garage, and the other is the huge backyard, almost 2 lots deep.

I finished a dishcloth last night.  I ran out of yarn with 6 rows to to on the last corner.  Luckily I had some ecru plain color yarn to tie on and finish.  The white in the  black and gray yarn is not stark white but not quite ecru but after it is washed a few times, I'm sure it will look fine.

Sometimes thinking days are my best days. Did the house across the street get "flipped"? Or is it simply being sold by the occupants?

I looked up the listing. $185,000 for 720 square feet? I can imagine living in it temporarily while building a bigger house on rest of the lot -- then turning the tiny house into a sewing studio!

Sunday should be everyones thinking day along with rest… you deserve a good ‘thinking day’. Fun pile of fabrics to create with today. That tiny house across the street from you has a huge price tag on it. I too looked it up on line, and I smiled at Nann’s suggestion .

Lovely and well deserved to have a thinking day!
Did you go tour the wee house across the street. I'd have done so as I enjoy looking at homes and house plans.
I plan on sewing blocks to each other today to get this baby quilt closer to being finished.

Hugs!

that does sound like a small house but the basement is a plus for sure and a garage that should attract some and maybe with the big lot they could get a permit to add a room to the back if they could. Lovely fabric

There have been several think (or reading) days lately. Short bursts of doing get mixed in, but the quieter hours feel good.

What are the chances that a tiny house stays on that lot? It sounds like it's a primo lot.
