A little stitching time................

I had an appointment in the middle of the morning yesterday and ran an errand while I was out.  I found a little time to work on the binding of this last table runner.

I have my first cucumber.  The package said 3 - 5" and this one is 6".   My grandson and his fiancé brought stuffed shells and sausage and while it was cooking we went out to check the garden.  I had totally missed this cucumber growing and I check the plant regularly.  There is another one that I can probably pick tomorrow.  I'm growing them for the neighbor girl since I'm not fond of cucumbers.

Your garden is producing well this year;))) I have lots of little green tomatoes again--but no reds right now. Hoping for a 2nd crop.
56 here this morning and the DP has dropped down to 55...looking ahead to a nice day...
Good progress on your binding ;)))
...hugs, Julierose

Congrats on the cuke! I used to miss cucumbers constantly, then would find them almost football sized and inedible - lol! How fun to have dinner with your grandson and fiance.

I like the stripe that you’re using. I wonder how my tomatoes are doing in my absence.

The table runner is almost done! Woohoo! That striped binding is cute! I miss not having zucchini this year.

Looks like you are finally getting some red tomatoes. I’m binding the last of five quilts and it’s a queen so it seems like it’s taking forever ;-)

Oh, I miss home grown tomatoes. Maybe next year?

Hugs!

I have to be in the mood to eat cucumbers - sometimes I eat them a lot and then can go weeks without missing them. I like that quilt it is a good one for using up scraps I think I have made it several times mostly small ones.
