This layout will be 6 blocks wide and 25 rows long so I decided to design the top 13 rows and sew that half together and then move it up the wall so I can design the rest. I changed the top left block because the 2 reds were too close together.
I think I have the right number of blocks pieced but I'm not going to stop and count now.
I took the rows down one by one as I was ready to sew them onto the growing top and have all 13 rows assembled and have 4 of them sewn together. Another 8 seams and I'll have 1/2 of the top assembled.

Lovely layout for this one...good idea to do it in halves...for designing...;)))

Beautiful layout and colors! Do you stand on a step ladder, or are you lucky enough to be tall?
I already love this one!
What a fun quilt this will be!
What happy colors and those various check fabric really add pizzazz!
I'm sewing the last few block sections together today and may get the top center all together - or not!
Hugs!
Fun and fanciful this one is… the black and white squares bring such fun to your gorgeous “exuberant” fabrics.
You’re moving right along! The mixed checks look good, like you intended it from the beginning :)
Larger pieces help things move along more quickly. Super fun colorations in this one.
