I was happy to have 3 finishes in the shortest month of the year. On the left is a flannel baby quilt using the same layout as I did with Marcia Derse fabrics a few months ago. It is 39" square. In the center is Shimmering Fish, a quilt made with Hunter Star blocks in an original layout. It is 50" x 66.5". The top was completed in 2020 and now it is a finished quilt, at last. On the right is Green Rosy, a Kaffe Fassett pattern in several books. I used a 2" grid and Kaffe used 3". It is 51" x 69".
I have several tops close to finish but completed just 2 of them, both quick and easy projects. On the left is a baby quilt top, all Kaffe fabrics, and it is 36" x 45". I'm going to put flannel on the back and hope to quilt it soon. On the right is Kaffe Strippy, my attempt to use up most of the 2.5" and 1.5" strips I cut many years ago. It is 47.5" x 67".
I also finished some small items in February. I made these 2 small pieces from all of the leftover Crooked Cobblestone blocks. If I decide to make any more quilts with this style I will have to start from scratch. The small piece is 8.25" x 9.5" and the larger piece is 13.25" x 19.25".
This piece was also finished and is approximately 18" square and is prettier than this photo. I'm still not happy with my phone photos vs. my camera photos. I do still have one computer that will talk to my camera so I need to go back to using it more.
I hope to continue finishing small pieces all year. They are little instant gratification sewing between the larger projects.
I went back to yesterday's post and updated the Shimmering Fish photo and also added a photo with the back showing.

You had such a beautifully productive February, Wanda--how rewarding to have finished (and brought closer to finish) all these lovely pieces...;))) nice works indeed.
Well the cold came in on the western wind last evening--it is now only 19 degrees; at least the sun is out and a bit higher in the sky these days. Daylight savings (I still wonder why this came into being?) will begin next weekend--so it'll feel more like spring is around the corner, won't it?
Hugs Julierose
I find, in trying to use up strips or squares, that I have to cut more for quantity or color, lol. I’m loving your Kaffe Green Rosy top. It will be fun seeing the small things you finish this year….they are gratifying :-)
so many pretties...i keep reminding myself tnat you have a go cutter which helps to be uber-productive...but i'm trying...lol
3 finishes for the month is amazing! shimmering fish fish suits that middle quilt, congrats on 3 beautiful finishes
I would say you had a very productive month! Were you successfuul in jusing up most of those 2.5" and 1.5" strips? I really love Green Rosy. It reminds me of spring.
Wow -- what a great February in your studio! That's what happens when you can't get out in the garden. Here's to March!
A very productive month!
Green Rosy is my favorite, for the colors as well as the name! I peeked at the backing photo for Shimmering Fish - so pretty.
all the quilts are so pretty as always I am amazed with how many finishes you have each month - I no some have been started in other years but all those finishes are amazing
February finishes makes my head spin, I so agree, you get more completed than all of us put together. And each and every one are masterpieces, no matter how big or small.
The fish really do appear to shimmer, especially in the small photo. I always love your crooked cobblestones.

Wow - what a productive month you had! Congratulations!!
Brilliant finishes! I am always amazed by how much you accomplish as you sew almost every day and sometimes have blocks already made that speed up some finishes. You're amazing!
Hugs!
A very productive month for you Wanda.
My favourite is the shimmering Star. 🌟

You had an excellent February! Good job!
Shimmering Fish is the perfect name!!Once again I have to say how much I love your KF Strippy quilt, your small 18" square quilt at the bottom is a winner, I can see a large quilt using this design, I'm looking at uncomplicated but effective patterns to use for my quilts, this one would be ideal for using my Kaffe fabrics. Apologies for missing a few of your posts Wanda - hopefully bac on tractck again in the next day or so.
