I trimmed this quilt and cut the binding and got it sewn onto the quilt. I have one long side hand stitched. This is the last of the neutral batik 16 patch quilts and the smallest one.
I had a couple outside sessions yesterday since it was still warm. I have the stalks cleared on the first of three Sedum plants.
I also trimmed off the old leaves from last year on the Lenten Rose plants. I left a couple on the center plant because I was getting tired of bending over. I raked out most of the leaves too.
In my inside garden the one lonely bud has bloomed on the white plant. It looks mostly pink here but it really is mostly white.

The colors in your neutral batik quilt are very similar to your first outdoor photo (without the green leaves.)
Love the batiks in those colors. Glad you had some time outside. I got a few radish and lettuce seeds planted yesterday, we'll see if the forecasted rain washes them away. That cactus bloom is so delicately colored.
I really like your neutral batik quilts, Wanda--so soft and lovely...
I see your plants are starting to poke their heads up now...Or garden guy has been rescheduled for Tuesday now...hope he shows up this time...
40 here and overcast with 40% chance of rain--but it sure looks and feels like it will rain out there...
Happy Sunday hugs, Julierose
Good work on your neutral quilt top. Plus all your outside work uncovering your plants. It’s always fun to see the first greenery of spring.
always nice and relaxing stitching binding down. I too get tired and sore from the bending to weed and take care of the plants - I'm so glad that I have several of the kneeling pads that have the handles on them to help me back up again as at times I feel frozen in place!
What a perfect binding fabric you found and well done in making good progress in stitching it on!
Wish we were over the flu enough to rake the leaves out of our flower beds.
Hugs!
That neutral quilt is beautiful! Like you, I have lots of cleanup to do and plan on doing it a little bit at a time. I don't think I can do a 6 hour session like I use to.
