I might have started this project about 5 years ago when Debbie first posted her quilt and directions for the block. At the time I pieced these 4 blocks and cut pieces for 8 more blocks. Somehow the 2 parts got separated and I finally just sewed the 4 blocks together figuring it would be a nice table centerpiece mat.
Two days ago I found the ziploc bag with the pieces in it so yesterday I made the 8 additional blocks.
Then I sewed them together into a really long tablerunner. The blocks finish at 9" so this will be about 18" x 54". I haven't decided if it needs a light or dark binding. Light would just let the dark areas float and dark would contain all of it. The person who might get it has a dark table.
I had a request for some child size face coverings so I used the t-shirt strips again instead of elastic for those tender little ears. I laid the one adult size there so you could see the size difference.
I'm still undecided on this project. Here it is without sashing which is what I had in mind when I started the project. This post shows the last thing I tried with sashing.
As I went back in my blog to find that link I found a bunch more posts that have photos missing now. Someone thought it was posts with the word mask in it but many of the posts didn't have any mention of them so that isn't the problem. I will go back and try to repost the photos.....which will take me a couple hours. I am disgusted by this. I have seen spots with missing photos on other blogs too so it isn't just me. Did we really need any more stress right now?
I will finish with a close up of the Jonquils....just because I think they are beautiful.

Those jonquils are so beautiful! What a glorious riot of color....
Tough call on the Stars--I like them set together also...
Our State has finally ruled that after 8 pm tomorrow all who go out and cannot stay 6' away from others have to wear a mask...so really, masked is it--who can guarantee that 6' distance from everyone...as there are a lot of rule ignorers out there! ;000
I like your runner...very nice pattern....

I had a photo disappear from a recent post and it appears to be one that I had deleted from my i-cloud photos file. Could also just be coincidence.
Google knows about the disappearing photo issue and is working to fix it, so don't spend a lot of time on it right now.
Your runner looks beautiful! I had forgotten about this pattern, so it's a nice surprise! On your current project....love them without sashing.
That's an interesting block. You did a great job at find them a purpose. I love it. ;^)
Good morning, Wanda. Three things: I love your new runner and look forward to seeing your choice of binding. I love the sashing with the light star on the post you mentioned in this email, but whatever you do will end up being fantastic. I have recently lost two of your photos on Instagram by just passing my curser over them unintentionally. This does sound like a Google problem. Have a great day!
What a fun post, Wanda! So much spring-y beauty. The tablerunner is really nice--a beautiful gift!
Thank you for the link to Debbie's post.
I Googled about photos on blogs and there are others who have had that problem going back at least a few years. I looked at two of my blogs that are photo intensive and so far they look okay. So, I have no answers to give you, just hoping that this gets resolved easily for you. One of my blogs is a travel blog that I like to look at to remind me of the beautiful scenery and interesting museums etc. from our travels. Obviously so many people enjoy all the quilts you have as well as your gardening delights. So again, offering hope and patience. Maybe it will just get better.

I was surprised that every other photo was missing from your blog this morning. I went for my morning walk and then tried again and they were all there. (^._,^) I've never experienced that before.
Such a lovely post today, what beautiful table runner, love the detailed blocks. Spring stars will sparkle no matter how you decided to finish them.

No, we don't need any more stress!
I love the stars blocks and the colors. I like it with or without the sashing. I like your table runner too. And pretty jonquils!
Wanda, you used white with black for the blocks. What about black with white for the sashing? I don't think it would take away from the lovely colors and would complement the white with black. Just my two cents on a stormy rainy day.
I went back to look and compare and like the light blue star in the sashing best. Just my opinion.
It would be great to get another UFO done this month. I don't think the demand for masks will go away any time soon. Those jonquils are beautiful. I don't have any with the orange trumpets. I do have some that are almost white which look so pretty among the yellow ones.
