Switching projects............

Among other things that I did yesterday I made 12 more blocks for the framed 9 patch quilt top.  11 of them are Kaffe fabrics and one is a Brandon Mably fabric.

It snowed off and on all day yesterday.  The streaks are the snowflakes when it was snowing the heaviest.  It piled up on pine and evergreen trees but the ground was too warm for more than a thin coating.

Rain and rain and rain here this year. The pond is so full!!! Hard to believe we were worried about the fish at the end of summer... and now... it is too full. More than 2 inches in the last 2 days!!! On the other hand I am not sorry to have missed the snowy stuff and colder temps. But I do miss seeing you and friends!

A lot of punch for a simple block. Missouri Star's tutorial today has the framed nine patch but she put a solid square in the corners. No snow, but sun today.

Pretty 9 patch blocks and fun to see on a gloomy Sunday here in the mountains.

Mother Nature will decide when we all get spring, snow showers same here in the mountains, we go from highs in the 60's to highs in the 30's. And I hope Mother Nature looks at the calendar on Thursday.... my calendar says the19th is first day of spring. My husband reminded me because it's leap year.

More beautiful framed 9-patch blocks! I was surprised we had a bit of snow too, but it warmed up on Sunday and before I knew it the snow was gone.
