The backing has coffee pots and I don't drink coffee....it was originally chosen and cut when it was going to be a gift. So now it is done and on my kitchen table.
I had my next quilt chosen to load on my longarm but I wanted an upstairs project last night while I watched TV so I started ditch quilting this quilt. All lines of quilting will be vertical and I have 11 of the 42 lines quilted now. Severe weather is predicted for later today so my sewing time will probably be early in the day.

Will you stick with ditch stitching for the entire quilt, or add additional designs? ...and I always want to know what your thread choices are.
Vertical lines on that quilt will be perfect - texture without too much detail.
Love the table runner and I love coffee. The big quilt is coming along well and will look great and graphic when done. Hopefully get on my longarm today. Yesterday, I had the grandkids all day giving them a break from homeschooling and mom and dad. I live across the street, so no travel. It was sunny and glorious yesterday and we spent hours outside.
Wanda, i have a question about your line quilting. Do you sew in one direction or do you go back and forth? Thank you.
Oh now I love that table runner--never too busy hahaha
great fabric...and the coffee pots are so cute...

I love the table runner. Quilt is great, too. What don't I love in your repertoire?!
That table runner is so bright and colorful! Another finish is a good thing too!
