Zippers............
I was so happy that the weather cooperated and the art quilters were able to come yesterday. Last year we weren't so lucky and didn't meet until March for the first time of the year. After they left I cut some more pieces for the zipper blocks and got 5 sewn last night. I just need 4 more for the size quilt I want to make and then I can go to the design walls and work on the arrangement.

Glad they were able to come. Those reds you worked on are certainly pretty. I especially like that hot pink daisy fabric!
I like this pattern. I think I need to try it.
The blocks look so cheery. On a gray day, they are so much fun.
Your fabrics are always what makes your designs sing, and so it goes with with your zipper blocks.

That was great that your quilting friends were able to come. I am catching up on reading from the weekend so I will say here that your Australian fabric top turned out great. Those fabrics for the back will look wonderful. You must have quite a few zipper blocks by now. they are going to make a fun quilt!
