Sunday Progress
I decided to sew some more on this piece so I could get it down off the design wall. I just stacked the pieces for the bottom 2 rows and clipped them together with binder clips. I printed a picture of my layout so I know which angle to place each block when they are sewn. This was the scene outside my kitchen window while I was baking cookies yesterday.

The photo is so beautiful! Scattered yellow blossoms on last year's leaves and fresh grass. Could be a great fabric.
Love the quilt!
I so love this quilt! And the doves.....I have 2 (I think...may be more couples...they all look the same) that get up on my deck railing and do it!!! These 2 may be basking in the after-glow! :)
I'm so happy I found your blog...the colors always make me smile!
With such a full day ~ And you took time to post today, thankyou.
Such a tricky quilt to stitch. Only you Wanda would tackle that detail.
Photo's of doves and forsythia just make my day. Your photo's belong in a gallery !

hmm, I'm the same way, things sit on the design wall to long. Sometimes I have three quilts, one on top of the other...and i want to take them all down and work on something else altogether! no wonder I have so many projects laying a round here...
looks good. fun pattern with those circles and bowties.
I think the doves liked the scents of your baking cookies! They certainly look calm and happy! Good luck with your program tonight. I'll bet your audience will be very impressed to see all your work!
Ouuuu...this quilt is going to be FABULOUS!!!
How can you be nervous about have quilters over. Your work is so fabulous. I'm going to study this quilt very carefully to figure out how to do it. Circles are my weakness. Spring is beautiful there.
I love how your quilt is turning out!! How beautiful are those birds. I love to watch birds, much like my cats do. However, unlike my cats, I don't have the urge to chase them.
Hi Wanda,
Like others have said, the forsythia blooms on the ground look very artsy. Forsythias always look like they have little glowing lights in them, especially on a grey day.
Here's an extra energy-boosting thought to get you through the rest of your day!
Maybe tomorrow will be recovery day?

I hope YOU enjoy giving the program and watching their eyes light up. You have some beautiful flowers that we don't have in this part of the world.
It's such an interesting design; I'm quite sure I've never seen one with that design before. All the best for the presentation tonight.
The quilt is coming along nicely. I will look forward to hearing about your trunk show.
That is going to be an absolutely glorious quilt!! Lester would love to see those doves!
The forsythia flowers are lovely. What amazing colours.
