Some more flowers opened on the pulmonaria. I was surprised to see 2 different color flowers on the same stem. The hosta plant behind it is just coming up.
I have been watching the Billy Graham Classic Crusades on Saturday night. It is amazing how timeless his messages are. The things he mentions sound like today's world when he was saying them in 1959 and 1985 on 2 of the shows. I think the world has changed so much but I guess I was not aware of some of the problems of the world when I was younger. Maybe it is because the news programs on TV have changed so much over the years. Now we hear about every little thing that happens and it wasn't like that in the 1950's through the 70's.

I like your little quilt and since I am not a gardener and know next to nothing about outdoor plants, I appreciate pics of other peoples' gardens and the names of the plants. I do, however, have crocus and my hostas are just coming up also.
As for the news, sometimes I think they report just a little too much information (especially when you hear of copycaters.)
The quilt looks great with the borders. I just love that border and background fabric. Your signs of spring are delightful!! I think that you are right about todays news, we do hear every little thing, not so sure if this is a good thing.
I adore that quilt! I keep thinking of bubbles when I look at it.
I just turn the news off. There's so much that it can quickly become overload.
I love the way the blocks look like they are floating on the top!
This is a pretty little quilt.
Yes, Billy Graham speaks timeless truth. The names in the news change, but human nature drives the stories. Maybe we hear too much, but maybe some of that helps a few of us know how much we need that timeless truth!
Love the spring flowers. It is warm here, but no flowers. Robins though, finally!
that quilt is funk-a-licious!
And look at your precious little flowers... it really does look like spring!
I really like that quilt, too.
Your comment about everything old being new again applies to so many situations . . .
Best wishes for your upcoming program!
Love this quilt. It goes together so neatly. I just want to stare at it and watch the pinwheels.
I love your SIMPLE little quilt too. Although what you think is simple... for this 'greenhorn' it is always so impressive to see the precision of your stitching, no matter how big or small your quilt top is.
Nice Sunday blooms to compare with my own. And I agree with your thoughts about Billy Graham.

The pinwheel quilt is wonderful - such interesting and eye catching border print. Love it.
You might be interested... why some flowers are pink and some are blue on your Pulmonaria. The color of the flower changes after pollination. It is a signal for the pollinator that it is not worth to visit the flower any more. :) Cool, isn't it?
I like this quilt too, thanks for showing it.
Nice quilt. I love the border fabric you chose, very complimentary!
Your border/background fabric couldn't be more perfect for those blocks! You have an unerring eye for fabric and color, making even simple blocks into a knockout quilt.
I don't watch the news; I think they make everything into a media circus, and when our emotions are all stirred up, our higher-level thinking shuts down. I prefer to read the newspaper; then, if I think a story is just trying to stir us up, I don't have to read it.
Talk about Exuberant Color! Just excellent! I will be anxious to see if I find your use of color contagious. I buy some, but don't use much. When I do use brights I usually enjoy it. So why don't I use more????
I really like this one too.
great colors...way out of my comfort zone but LOVE looking at all the fabrics . Love how your quilts just make me smile
its all about the color!

I love the little quilt. It is bright and perky and fun. What could be better?
Love that little quilt. I NEVER would have had that background fabric on hand to choose for multi-color blocks, but it is SO perfect.
I agree about the news being too much detail and often no substance (are they trying to keep us riled up?). My TV watching is minimal as a result.

It may be a simple quilt, but the colors are gorgeous. I like the other one too, with the greens in it.
Your peonies are leaps and bounds ahead of mine, but my hostas are only a little behind. Pulmonaria, huh? I discovered one of those in my yard today over by the woods, thought it was a weed! Maybe I should move it to a more suitable location where it can be appreciated!
Great quilt...Is it all batik fabric? Such a simple block made into such a spectacular quilt.
the background makes this one so interesting. have fun with your presentation tonight....wish i could be there to participate.
Yes, Marty that is all batik fabric.
Oh...this little quilt is great too!! I know you all will have fun tonight!!
The background of the pinwheel quilt really shimmers!
