The center and border pieces of this little quilt have been up on my design wall in my studio for over a year. I couldn't decide what color I wanted that inner border to be. Then I realized I like the white from the design wall so I chose a batik that has a very faint pastel pattern on white and sewed it together last night. It is only about 28" x 32". I could add another border and make it bigger but I think it would be a cradle size quilt right now, or a nice quilt to carry in a diaper bag to use when visiting others.

Wonderful colours! First, I wasn't so sure about the white, but it is a differenciated white, and if I try to imagine other colours for the inner border, I find out you're right.

I agree, I don't think I would add another border. You really can't improve on this one, it is perfect already.

Baby floor quilts are the best! It is a perfect size for putting down on the floor and small enough to pop right into the wash. And it is pretty too! Cheers! Evelyn

I really like the white border, and it's a nice place for displaying some quilting stitches. It's a beautiful quilt. One less in the pile of unfinished! YES!

Isn't it funny how when you have a "difficult" decision, the solution is often the simplest possible course of action.
